I have decided I am done bitching about politics. I vote. Fuck it. It’s starting to send me into a bipolar spiral. Well, it has been.
Instead, I have been putting out oodles of friend requests on Facebook and elsewhere, and much to my shock, every one has been accepted. Not too too surprising since they all have like 50+ mutuals. But still, its cheering me the fuck up. The Gits movie has been re-released. Some of my photos are in the Rock Hall, and Steve Moriarty published some in his book. Now if we can just get Hammerbox and 7 Year Bitch into the spotlight again. Where they belong. Things are going well.
I kind of hate to say this, but its true, that both my parents being gone now FREES ME> Completely. I no longer have to worry about their disapproval. I can do whatever the fuck i want now. I deleted my blogs from the ‘aughts cause it embarrassed my family. I was an idiot. Cause that shit was BRILLIANT> People were comparing me to Bukowski, to Vonnegut, to Hunter S.
Since, I have been hiding. It is a huge risk putting myself out there. I’ve been on the internet a long long time, and I know it well.
The block button is my friend…and I use it liberally. Zero Tolerance. I see a dick online, anywhere, someone else’s comments, doesn’t matter. They are gone. I don’t want to see their shit, nor do i wish them to see mine.
